Sir Julian Sorell Huxley was the first Director of UNESCO, and a founding member of the World Wildlife Fund. He was the brother of Aldous Huxley.

Career Edit

Eugenicist Edit

Huxley was a prominent member of the British Eugenics Society, and was Vice-President (1937-1944) and President (1959-1962). Prior to that, he used to write lengthy editorials for eugenicist trade publications such as Eugenics Review.

Transhumanist Edit

After World War II, Julian Huxley would lay the foundations for the Transhumanist movement. Huxley emphasized that this emerging science should be led by 'eugenic' principles.
